Katie Hayes
Director
Katie is a Director on the investment team at Wittington Ventures. Her primary focus is on healthcare investments.
She has over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, both in Canada and in the US. She began her career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in New York, covering blue chip healthcare clients. From there, Katie transitioned into investing and worked as a private equity associate at Madison Dearborn Partners in Chicago. She then worked in strategy roles at multiple early-stage healthcare companies focused on launching new products and services. She is particularly interested in how different the healthcare landscapes are in the US and Canada and how entrepreneurs can take the best from both systems to solve challenges in care delivery.
Katie received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B. Com and B. Sc (Life Sciences) from Queen’s University.
Outside of work, Katie is an avid skier and enjoys keeping up with her busy young daughter and golden retriever.
