Tarek is an Associate at Wittington Ventures, supporting the firm’s commerce stream with a focus on social commerce and consumer technology.

Prior to joining Wittington Ventures, Tarek was an Associate at Plug and Play Ventures, where he covered early-stage investments in the climate sector, and helped run the firm’s accelerator and corporate innovation programs in Alberta. He began his career as a Consultant at Konrad Group, working with some of North America’s largest brands to launch digital products.

Tarek graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Outside of work, he enjoys adventure travel, exploring new restaurants, brewing espresso, and playing racquet sports.
